During the course of my career, indeed during the course of my life I have observed people attempting to make sense of their ‘every day’ lives as a result of their experiences and events that were and are often perceived as ‘unwanted’ or in some way ‘bad’.
Yet, it is these very experiences that provide an opportunity for ‘growth’ and greater understanding; a genesis for expansion and evolution resulting in wise decisions whether it be in the area of career, finances, relationships, families.
“When the student is ready the teacher appears”.
I observe the destructive nature of stress and how perceptions, rigid belief systems, fear and guilt influence decisions that often block opportunities for advancement, that create ‘dis-ease’ and that result in reinforcing a sense of helplessness and hopelessness.
There is a strong correlation between health / well-being and perceptions.
I am dedicated to assisting people to use their perceived state of being whatever that might be, any perceived adversity, perceived limitation(s), perceived negative emotions, to become the genesis for personal evolution in order to move to greater self-awareness, understanding and expansion.
My philosophy and that of my business is well-expressed by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe:
“If I accept you as you are, I will make you worse; if I treat you as though you are what you are capable of becoming, I help you become that.”
During my years teaching senior students, it is this philosophy that assisted me in developing confidence in students; in interacting with people, it is this philosophy that prevails in developing quality relationships, in facilitating people towards greater expansion and in contributing to people's lives.
